Our guests have marbled out or graduated from long-term care facilities or earned 90 days sobriety in AA. Applicants The must be referred by a counselor, AA sponsor, or current resident.
Guests abide by the terms of the Sara Street Social Contracts. GRADUATED LIVING does not accept applicants who use Suboxone, Subutex, or prescription narcotics.
We screen for alcohol, marijuana, meth, heroine, Fentanyl, and 12 other substances -- street drugs, and prescription medications. Guests may be asked to provide blood or hair samples in rare circumstances. Any use of drugs or medications not sanctioned by Graduated Sober Living will be grounds for immediate expulsion.
Residents must attend at least five meetings a week. Three must be in person. One of the five meetings may be the in-house AA-style meeting held on Sundays in the Living Hall. The house is located less than three blocks from a noon weekday meeting, "Keep It Simple." All residents are required to have a sponsor and to be working the steps of an "A" program -- either Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous.

Getting back on your feet means being connected. You will need to be working or at school -- or working the 12-Steps with a sponsor. On the day you arrive, you will be given the house password. Internet privileges are not to be abused. Excessive gaming or dating sites may negatively impact your sobriety.
Guest are required to maintain personal hygiene and adhere to appropriate dress codes. On-site laundry facilities are provided free of charge. There is a dry cleaner nearby on 18th Street.
