Single Rooms

$625/mo.

 We know that overcrowding can cause stress. We recognize your fundamental right to privacy. And our program qualifications ensure that you will not be able to indulge any isolating tendencies!

Clean, Modern Decor

The house has been fully renovated. The kitchen opens onto a dining room. Our group room boasts a large television. The yard is large and is barbecue- and gardener-friendly.

Double & Queen Beds

We know that good sleep hygiene is one of the most important aspects of early recovery. None of our beds are twins, and our one shared room boasts two queen beds.


ACCOUNTABILITY

Resident Selection

Our guests have marbled out or graduated from long-term care facilities or earned 90 days sobriety in AA.  Applicants The must be referred by a counselor, AA sponsor, or current resident.

Guests abide by the terms of the Sara Street Social Contracts. GRADUATED LIVING does not accept applicants who use Suboxone, Subutex, or prescription narcotics.

Drug Screening

We screen for alcohol, marijuana, meth, heroine, Fentanyl, and 12 other substances -- street drugs, and prescription medications. Guests may be asked to provide blood or hair samples in rare circumstances. Any use of drugs or medications not sanctioned by Graduated Sober Living will be grounds for immediate expulsion. 

Program Continuity

Residents must attend at least five meetings a week. Three must be in person. One of the five meetings may be the in-house AA-style meeting held on Sundays in the Living Hall. The house is located less than three blocks from a noon weekday meeting, "Keep It Simple." All residents are required to have a sponsor and to be working the steps of an "A" program -- either Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous.

Hi-Speed Internet

Getting back on your feet means being connected. You will need to be working or at school -- or working the 12-Steps with a sponsor. On the day you arrive, you will be given the house password. Internet privileges are not to be abused. Excessive gaming or dating sites may negatively impact your sobriety.

Laundry

Guest are required to maintain personal hygiene and adhere to appropriate dress codes. On-site laundry facilities are provided free of charge. There is a dry cleaner nearby on 18th Street. 

Kitchen

The house has been fully renovated. The kitchen opens onto a dining room. Our group room boasts a large television. The yard is large and is barbecue- and gardener-friendly.


CONVENIENCE

Recovering adults thrive in a respectful, attractive, safe environment. Graduated sober living provides a clean space for men who want to stay clean.

Opportunities

The local economy is varied, allowing for plenty of opportunities. Whether you want to go back to school or learn a new trade, you are in the vicinity of two major universities and several community colleges. Jobs in the arts, education, the service industry and communication abound.  

Necessities

With two neighborhood groceries, bakeries, restaurants, coffee shops, and health clubs within walking distance, you will find your new home centrally located and thoroughly convenient. 

Recreation

Whether you are into Crossfit or kayaking, you will find a local group that shares your enthusiasm. Two outdoor parks offer hiking trails and outdoor recreation. A levee trail meanders along the Ouachita River into some of the loveliest of Southern neighborhoods.
